Palm Springs

Basics: Palm Springs has its own small airport, but it is also common for visitors to fly into LAX, which is about 2 hours away from the city.

Kosher Food: Since we were there during Chol Hamoed and the second days of Pesach, we brought nearly everything we needed.
Chabad provides meals on-site and also offers catering options through its website. However, since it was Pesach, we were unable to take advantage of Chabad’s generosity during our stay.

Minyan: Chabad frequently holds a minyan, but it’s best to get in touch with them before booking to confirm the schedule.

Weather: The weather in Palm Springs is very dry and hot. Due to the low humidity, the heat doesn’t feel as intense, but it's still important to stay hydrated. Be sure to pack plenty of water and drink consistently throughout the day.

Hotels and Attractions: We stayed at Marriott Desert Springs Villas, which is located on the same property as the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. We had access to amenities at both resorts, which served us well during Yom Tov. The resort is enormous, and we enjoyed exploring it throughout our stay.
Most attractions don’t require prior booking, but be sure to reserve in advance for the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
