Park City
Basics: Since it snows a lot during the winter, make sure to bring waterproof and warm boots. Many attractions are located in areas that aren’t shoveled, and you may encounter knee-deep snow in some spots.
We do suggest bringing along a pair of snow pants since you want to remain dry and warm throughout each excursion. Additionally, snow goggles were helpful as well.
Kosher Food/Minyan: For kosher food, we brought along frozen milk and dairy meals from Pomegranate. We purchased the rest of our supplies at a local Walmart.
Shabbos: For Shabbos, we ordered from Pomegranate and took it with us. They package the food to be flight-ready, and it can be warmed up anywhere. We used our griddle as a hot plate for the Shabbos meals.
Additionally, Chabad Park City hosts Shabbos meals and offers takeout, which includes breakfast and lunch options. They also have a dine-in option at Bistro at Canyons Village.
A minyan was available daily during our stay, so it’s a good idea to contact the Chabad Rabbi to confirm.
Weather: Expect cold weather in Park City during the winter months and be sure to bring warm clothing.
Hotels and Attractions: We had no trouble booking our Airbnb, even though we planned our trip at the last minute. We were still able to secure our bookings for some great attractions!
