Day 1: Friday

After an early morning flight, we picked up our rental car at the airport and stopped by a local Walmart to grab some basics for Shabbos before heading to Park City. Along the way, we took time to enjoy the stunning mountainous views.

Once in Park City we visited the Olympic Park, where we checked out the ski jumps and bobsled tracks. Although there are attractions like alpine slides, zip lines, and a bobsled ride on the actual Olympic track, we opted to simply enjoy the sights due to time constraints.

Once we checked into our Airbnb, we quickly got ready for Shabbos, as it was the earliest Shabbos of the year.

Day 2: Shabbos

We had a beautiful and peaceful Shabbos in Park City, made even more special when the snow started to fall! Motzei Shabbos, after lighting Chanukah candles, we enjoyed a snowball fight, went sledding, and built a snowman right outside our Airbnb. Of course, we finished the day with some delicious hot cocoa.

Day 3: Sunday

We started the day with snowmobiling. There were multiple options available, but we chose Park City Peaks Snowmobiling. We decided to sandwich our son between the two of us on the snowmobile, feeling more comfortable that way rather than taking two separate machines. The guided snowmobiling took us through a private ranch, ascending a mountain and offering breathtaking views. The ride up and down was both stunning and exhilarating!

After warming up a bit, we headed to Woodward Park, an indoor and outdoor hub. We started with snow tubing and then moved indoors to enjoy the trampolines and foam pits.

After lighting candles and having a light meal, we went to Canyons Village, where we enjoyed exploring the shops and warming ourselves at the fire pits scattered throughout the area. We were thrilled to find the Chabad menorah in the village.

Day 4: Monday

We began the day with a gondola ride in Park City, ascending to Canyons Village. The ride offered beautiful views of the snowy mountains surrounding us.

Next, we headed to Stillman Ranch, home to North Forty Escapes. After spending a few minutes playing with the huskies, we bundled up and set off on an incredible dog sledding adventure! The views were stunning, and the dogs were so excited that we raced along at high speed.

After a quick goodbye to the friendly huskies, we made our way back to Salt Lake City to catch our flight home.
