Day 1:

After a smooth flight, we landed at the Punta Cana Resort airport. We had arranged transportation through our AirBnB hosts, as the Punta Cana Resort is a private property. After a brief tour of the villa and a guided map walkthrough of the resort, we headed to Punta Cana Village to stock up on some essentials. We enjoyed exploring the charming shops and boutiques there, and it truly felt like we had entered a different world.

We returned to the villa for dinner and ended the evening with a relaxing night swim.

Day 2:

After a refreshing morning swim, we made our way to the Reserva Ecológica Ojos Indígenas. The nature reserve offers beautiful wooded trails and natural pools with crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming. We had a great time walking through the trails and splashing around in the pools.

Next, we headed to Playa Bibijagua for our private boat rental with Big Marlin Charters. We enjoyed a scenic ride on the calm waters and even docked at a secluded island, where we watched our captain climb a palm tree with impressive agility! He picked two coconuts and gave us straws to drink the juice inside. While I didn’t care much for the taste, the experience was certainly memorable.

Although the boat ride was enjoyable, we recommend using a charter company within the Punta Cana Resort itself. The area around Playa Bibijagua is a popular party spot, and the noise from other boats could be disruptive. Additionally, our boat was restricted to a smaller area, unlike those within the resort that had more freedom to explore.

Day 3:

We started the day at Playa Serena, a beautiful beach just steps away from our AirBnB. Since the entire resort is surrounded by beaches, it was easy to find a secluded spot. In our case, the beach was completely deserted, and we relished swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand, feeling like we had our very own slice of paradise.

Afterward, we explored the resort using the golf cart we had rented with our AirBnB. We made stops at various beaches to take in the stunning scenery.

Later, after a refreshing swim and a nice dinner, we set off again for a sunset drive and more exploration of the resort.

Day 4:

We headed to the stunning Playa Blanca. The beach was breathtaking, with panoramic views of the endless turquoise waters. After soaking up the beauty of Playa Blanca, we continued driving around the resort, stopping at a few additional beaches and gardens.

Following a final dip in the pool, we made our way to the airport to catch our flight home.
